I was looking at your website.

Where did you get the speaker covers on your front driver side and passenger sides? I still have my old Bose covers on my new speakers, they're a bit of an eyesore, I like what you did.

you mean this one?

those are the stock grilles on the non-bose system.. they have a "cheesecloth" backing behind them, and it was getting torn up, so I pulled it out and left the speaker open.

on your bose stuff, I think you should be able to pull the metal grille off from the inside and it'll look just like that. I'm not positive, but take the door panel off and look at it.

I've got completely different pods down there now, replacing that whole bottom of the door panel.. I tok some pics, but don't have them scanned yet.. beigeMaxima also took some pics with his digicam and he said he'd email them to me sooner or later.. whenever I get them, I'll post a link.

Hey matt...for as many pictures that you have on your website that you took with a regular camera, you could have a digital camera by now (if you don't already have one)

If you've got any more info on custom pods, I'd love to hear it. I don't like the way my 5 1/4s are mounted.

I know.. I can't ever justify the cost of a digicam, cuz when I buy one, it's gonna be good..
but last week dad came home with a Mavica FD-85, so I'm not worried anymore..

now if it will stop raining and he'll let it out of his sight long enough for me to take some pics, I'll get pics of my door panels.

FYI, the door panels are fiberglass pods that replace the stock map pockets.. they're about 1/2 cu ft sealed enclosure..
I'm not done with them yet. (they're in, but I have LOTS of buzzes and rattles in the doors to fix).
