I30t more problem-prone?

I seem to recall that the touring edition had some specific suspension problem that was a relatively expensive fix compared to the standard I30.

Nothing popped up in searching this forum, anyone know about this. I think it was related to aligning the rear wheels.

There is absolutely no difference in the suspension on the I30 Touring model vs. the standard model that would create substantial additional repair costs. Not sure where this rumor came from, but that is the reason the information search came up empty.

the I30Ts just used SE suspension if im not mistaken, if they dont have a problem the extra like 50lbs that our cars have isnt going to make a differenece

yeap springs are different that's all, no difference in repair.
Take into account this is a 10+ year old car.

Infiniti Q45s touring and non touring would be the only one I know of that would fit this description, the I30s are safe!

I'm also looking to replace my rear struts in my 99 I30t. I know that the springs are different than the standard I30's but are the struts? It kinda vague when searching for the aftermarket struts online. Although, I have found different NISSAN part numbers for rear struts for Maxima SE (56210-43U27) vs. GXE/GLE (56210-31U27). I'd like a decent aftermarket rear strut that is as close to the I30t stock part as I can get, but I can't seem to find two versions (I30/I30t) of anything that's aftermarket.

yea the cefiro/i30/maxima body style has option for electronic suspension/ transmission selection.

essentially a sport mode. where suspension is stiffened up and gears change more aggressively for autos.

that suspension system might cost money. but not the regualr USDM spring/mcpherson strut combo.
