I got my exedy stage 1 clutch last week and should be getting my fidanza flywheel today or tomorrow. I'm just wondering if there are any writeups on changing the clutch, I've searched but i don't know if i'm just not looking in the right place but i cant find anything.

It's really not that hard.

Have you not looked in the FSM? Look at the FSM, starting at MT-14.
IIRC, the Haynes has the procedure as well.

It's basically the same as any other vehicle (if you have any past experience):
  1. Drain trans and remove axles
  2. Remove everything up top, including starter, trans mount and bracket, unplug the harness
  3. Remove shift cables and bellhousing bolts, drop trans
  4. R&R clutch, flywheel, put everything else back together

There are a few tricks, I've done it a half dozen times and it only takes ~45 minutes from jacking up the car to having the trans on the ground with the case split open.

Definitely want to have two people doing it, though.

FWIW 12mm, 14mm and 17mm ratchet wrenches help out a lot for this job, and you'll need a T55 torx bit to remove the flywheel bolts. Also an 8mm (IIRC, maybe 10mm) allen socket or key to remove the trans drain plug.

Air tools are handy, but by no means required. I've found it faster to do the trans on jackstands than on a lift.

Not really, why would they be? It's about the same, IMO. Some things are a PITA on the 5MT (the control rod and the shifter rod bolt), and some on the 6MT (shift tower, neutral and reverse sensors).
