below are some current pics of my maxima and I need help on two things, I getting the body work done right now and then in about two weeks its getting painted, no my questions
1) What colour should I get it painted?
2) Should I get the stillen kit painted body colour or just redo it in black trim paint?

Well in the first pic I was pretty sure that you have the rear lip already matched making me think
but I'm following you now
It's up to you man, it's your ride... It depends on what look you are going for... Nissans follow a black lip trim color even up to the GTRs (granted not all models and not all year models). Me personally I like the the black accenting from having it black.

awsm66 just posted a thread showing a grey silverstone max w/ a stillen kit so that would give you a good idea of how yours would look completely painted vs leaving the stillen kit black. personally i'd paint the kit the body colour BUT i'm not gonna tell you what colour to paint your ride cuz that is a ridiculous question.
but hey what do i know? i have a bumper off a 93 prelude on my car and i'm painting it dark purple next week.

These are basically my opinion, too.
Since your car is already silver, I would go with a darker, gunmetal kind of silver. Look up colors for the GT-R, G37, FX35, etc. I think it's called "Gun Metallic" on the GT-R (darker), "Platinum Graphite" on the FX35 and G37.
I would also paint the kit, but that's just me.
I already own an FX35 and I think the color is called "Diamond Graphite" and I get tons of compliments on the color. It has a very classy look.
Keep it silver. It is already a rare color which I could have sworn was only available in 89 and 90. I think your car is the first silver 91-94 that I have ever seen.. Maybe it's because you're in Canada.

My opinions here.
1. Painting it a different color will cost more because to do it right they have to paint the door and trunk jambs. you can paint the engine bay and underside of the hood black with spray paint to save a little. IF you wanted to paint it a different color though I would paint it dark blue like the newer Mustangs or like the new Challenger here. I tried to get David to paint his the Mustang blue but he decided it was too flashy for him and chose the dark silver (which looks really good...pictures dont do it justice).
2. I would not leave the kit black. To me and again its just my opinion it does not look good that way.
Its a matter of what you like though. Its your car...you will have to live with it and its your money you are putting in it. Do what you like and dont worry about anyone else.

Wow where are all these 3rd gen Canadians coming from? (it's lonely for us).
Keep the current color of your car - it's rare on a 3rd gen and it makes for a much less expensive repaint as Michael pointed out. Paint the Stillen kit to match. And definitely countersink the bolts, and fill them so you can't see them once it's painted.
Also, check out TorontoMaxima.com - we are your local Maxima club, with local resources. Not quite as many 3rd genners there to help you out as here though (read: me - that's it).
Edit: and don't ask me to make clear corners for you lol. Search my 'how to' thread.

my thought was using a darker "silver" color would blend OK with the doors and under the hood, since it's already silver. Kind of like the pebble beige. Those cars are lighter (more tan) under the hood.
Painting a car a totally different color (like blue or yellow) takes a lot more effort and detail.
