I have LEDs in the stock housing and I think it looks the same.

Search. I believe Ilyak recently started a thread about putting LEDs.

Shortly:
1 You need to take the bracket off and replace it with the LED strip you got. It is easy job, but make sure to not touch the LEDs with the metal under the bumper cover!

Good luck!

there is a "chipper" and easy way to do this.

96se is a trooper. ill remember his info when my cheap way fails in about a 2-3 years..

I believe most car stores sell this led light strip housed inside a plastic shell which is bolted onto the two bolts that hold the plate in place.
I picked up mine from a clearance section at some store for 4$ becuase the connectore was broken. I think (i put OEM harness there)

Instead of bolting this light to the plate you can use two brackets.. of whatever you like.. i happened to have two metal aluminium bracckets laying around.. its not even a bracket its two pieces of metal that are about 1"x4" or something like that..

This way i mounted the light above the plate behind the bumper where the OEM light was, and wired it to the original female male adapter that was there.. and well it came out great. it looks OEM aside from everybody knowing its not because cars of 96 did not have such tech.

example.

lol lol <-bracket

Go to the stickys. My 'how to' is in there. It's very simple.

I bought some from vled.com awhile back and they were just plug and play. very easy to do and looks way better than those led strips they sell IMO. I have a night shot on my thread.
