If your running your system with the car on, your power comes from your alternator, not your battery. However, I would probably go with a Odyssey Battery before an optima.

i got the yellow top with a 2000watt rms hifonics amp. no capicitor as ive seen that they really dont do much. alt is stock. best thing to do is to upgrade that alt with an irragi high output alt with the optima. you can find some on ebay for like 200 i think. but if you want better than optima. your going to have to go with KINETIK!!!

the best battery that ive seen for any kind of system is the XS D3100 battery steve meade on youtube has a tahoe with over 23k watts he usues these batterys and the irragi alternators in all his cars and cars he builds for customers. my friend personally has one with 2 JL 500.1 amps with 4 JL 12s and runs a another amp for his mids and hi's off just the one battery GL with your search im going for the irragi alternator and one of these batterys as well

Keep in mind, the red top has a 3 year warranty free replacement policy, where the yellow top has a 1 year free replacement policy.

I had one last 5+ years. Next one lasted 4 months. Same car too. Go figure.
