Advice on some 5.5gen headlight work

Looking to do black out the housings, clear turns, angel eyes, and led strips coming up. Does anyone have a recommended type of LED strip they would recommend? I don't know if it would look better with just the front part of the headlights with the strip or for the strip to wrap around the whole headlight. Anyone know a good length to order?

Any other incite would be great, I wanna make sure the headlights seal really well because my lights are pretty much perfect now, not foggy or cloudy at all.

Found these and they seem like they will work well based on some info and pictures I saw on VWvortex.

The only thing is I don't know how you could have the LED facing out without seeing wires and holes and stuff. Obviously, you'd want it to look like a clean install when the lights are off. Hmm...

Talk to Max0224 about the LED strip, it looks like he's definitely got it figured out.

To the OP: for the blackout part, I recommend using SEM's Trim Black (part# 39143).
If you need clear lenses, I've got a clear set from Tap Plastics. P/M me if interested.

I like them, but I would prefer the strip in the front, not on the side like his. Just my preference. I will message him, thanks.

So, you're going to do this before you sell it?

I don't think anyone will be buying it soon. No normal person would buy my car it would most likely be someone off the forums and I don't see many people buying. So I will continue to mod my car until such a time as someone buys it.

Anyone have any more advice on this? How can I get the LEDs to face outward and have the wiring look clean? I heard the flexible LED strips aren't good to use, so..... IDK.
