steering wheel controls & aftermarket system

Does anybody have any new information on the compatability issues concerning the 2K1 steering wheel radio controls and an aftermarket radio? Thanks.

is this what ya' mean
model # PAC-SWI-X crutchfield.com--make sure whoever installs it knows what they're doin'--you don't want anything to short out

I saw this last week and it seems like a great product. Your aftermarket stereo has to have an IR remote control. The Pioneer I was looking at was an RF remote, and won't work.
