Rear Passenger Caliper Leaking

Has anyone else had this problem? Did you have to get a new one or was there an alternative solution available?

Well, where exactly is it leaking from? The banjo bolt? The piston seal?

A solution is completely dependent on what the problem is.

I had a leak from a remanufactured replacement caliper once. I could see that a rubber seal (I think where the E-brake assembly attached to the caliper) wasn't seated properly, so I just took it back and exchanged it for another caliper.

where's it leaking? if it's not from the line itself, it'd probably be easier and save you some time and confusion to just replace the caliper. it's easy and cheap enough.

re:

I think the leak is coming from the caliper itself, the lines are clean but the caliper has this mucky buildup all over it

As everyone else here has said, just get another caliper and put it on. Almost any auto parts store has rebuilt ones from $50-100, and they only take about 1/2 hr to change. Simple fix.
