stock air box removal
Fine fine I'll help you out, from what I remember you will need to remove a few bolts and screws. Removing the battery is helpful if you want to get EVERYTHING out.
What I did when I took off my air box was to first remove the top part, you know the part that goes to the TB, then I went to the snorkel and removed the two screws at the tip but before removing it, you have to kind of follow it down with your hands and there should be a sensor at the bottom, and then unhook the snorkel from the resonator box (Under the battery) and pull it out. Then to take out the box under the battery, you need to use a SMALL ratchet and there should be two loooong bolts holding it on, one should be right under the battery also, the other one is under a fuse box I think and you need to remove the two screws on the sides of the box to move it to the side to get the the last bolt holding on to the resonator box.
I didn't get any further than that because I wanted to keep my stock air box, but all you need to do I think is remove the 4 or 5 bolts holding on to the bottom of the box and it should just pop right out.

It's not that hard guys...it's not rocket science.
- Undo all hoses going to mid-box
- Unclip the top part of filter box
- Loosen clamps around TB and MAF
- Unscrew clips in radiator support holding the snorkle
- Remove sensor from Snorkle
Remove intake.
Done.
I know some people are scared to do anything on their car, but just look. You'll see how simple it is.

agreed! it is mad easy and same with reinstalling it
Wow, If hes incapable of doing this himself than dont give him a complicated task, OP all you Really need to do is Tape Over the resonator hole on the underside the snorkel.... thats about it...
