what is my maxima worth? i have a 95 5 speed that is lowered god knows how much but with stock tires on stock wheels the tires are about 1/2" in side the fenders in front and about even in back. the hood and both front fenders are primer black the hood has dents in it covering a area about the size of a basket ball right behind the driver side head light. the front bumper has bondo in it (idiot) that is flaking out the rest of the clear coat besides the roof is fading. the tach reads what ever it wants to but reads right about 10% of the time. the motor runs great and pulls hard (for a stock maxima) the A/C blows 35* out of the vents. it also has a short ram intake and a flowmaster mufler on a other wise stock exhaust system.

it is a gxe that had stock leather power seats put in it that are prefect besides the hole about fist sized in the driver seat. the carpet looks brand new and feels like it has 1"+ of padding under it.

i know your not going to be able to give me a exact price but im just looking for a price range? $1000-, 1000-1500, 1500-2000?? BTW it has 139k miles on it and leaks nor burns not one drop of oil. heck i have about 800-900 miles on this oil change and the oil it still looks just like i put it in.

Generally kelly blue book (kbb.com) can give you an estimate for the value of your car. Aftermarket and Performance parts don't really increase your cars sale value. In a community like the .org you may be able to recoup some of your expenses from aftermarket parts as you are dealing with enthusiasts. The typical car driver could care less about upgrades such as exhaust and intakes.

Your best bet in trying to sell the car for the most $$ would be to return it to stock if you still have the parts and sell the aftermarket parts in the for sale section, craigslist, or ebay.

A nice plus about your car is 139k is low mileage for our cars, however people will be turned away by the body damage.

Good luck with your sale

What it is worth depends on what you do with it.

If you were to trade it into a dealership with 139k mile, lowered, and at least three body panels needing work plus the bumper, the upholstery problem, and a bad tach I would appraise it for $200. It's junk.

If you can sell it to someone who knows how to do bodywork, maybe you can get a grand or even $1500 for it, but I think that is pushing it.

Look at it another way. What would it be worth if it was really nice, $3500?
How much money will it take to make it really nice?

of the few things wrong with it what do you think would net the biggest bang for the buck? you think if i could find a set of fenders and a hood at a junk yard in the right color and it good shape it would bring up the value a good bit? if i were to put a little money into the car where would it be best spent?
