Does anyone know the part # for the drives side trans seal on a 95 5spd non lsd transmission? Mine is leaking and i need to get one. Autozone doesnt have a part listing for it either.

Thank you

Assuming you mean the axle seal, it's 38342-03E00, $7.52 @ Courtesy.

Autozone has it, Timken PN 710118.

That autozone part number says it's for the automatic. Are they interchangeable?

The part number I listed should work just fine for the 5MT, driver's side.

Yes I mean axle seal, that autozone part # says transmission seal. But yes, i need the axle seal. It does say for automatic, so I will go with the courtesy p#.

Check for play in the axle before you waste your money on that seal. Usually when they start to leak, it's a pretty good indication that your diff. bearings are worn.
A very common issue with the 5MT trannys. Replacing the seal usually doesn't fix the leak.

The part number doesn't mean anything without a manufacturer. Also, assuming you've got the original trans in your car (and it was originally destined for Canada) then you've got a VLSD, which has a different seal.

Not all canadian maximas are lsd. mine isn't. the only place to get seals up here is the dealer. like $10-20
