dude, are you venting before the dynoe results or after the dynoe results....it's o.k. to vent, it's just best to know why you're venting

Venting cuz my car is slow as $hiet! Ran a 16.1 at 85 mph at the track. You may say its the driver, but I had 3 other drivers run my car and to net the same result.

Something is definitely wrong with you car - you need to get it diagnosed. It could be anything.....

The pulley was one of my first mods and I liked it. It's nothing earth shattering but it does help low end acceleration and I think it also helps when you punch it at highway speeds.

The UDP is not a bad mod.... it is not earth shattering in terms of gains, but it is noticeable and a nice add-on if you already have intake of some sort and a y-pipe.....

Don't expect to get huge gains from the UDP. You will notice a litte bit of low end power but nothing huge.

I don't think you will need to reset the ECU if you've had the mods on for awhile. The ECU should learn everything as time progresses but it never hurts to do it.

I did not have to reset the ECu for the Intake and Y-pipe. I doubt i'll need to do the same for the muffler.

I really like the UDP....gained 2mph in 1/4 trap with it. ET was off b/c of launching technique.

resetting your ecu will do nothing for your 1/4 mile time. the WOT fuel map is already hardwired into your ecu and you can't change it. Your ecu doesn't "learn" mods for better full throttle acceleration, it learns to be more fuel efficient in part throttle situations becuase of less restriction. If you are running 16s in a modded max...even an auto....then something is DEFINITELY wrong with your car. you should be low 15s now....

What are the chances of having a "slow" car from the factory?

ok it's not elevation...

I was thinking that cause I ran a 16.1 too, but that was at 6000 ft. above sea level. That translates about to a 15.1 at sea level.

Re: ok it's not elevation...

I'm hoping to race a stock Maxima and see how I do. I'll be racing RBA and a few other similarly modded max's and see how I make out.
