im trying to do my susension irght now but i cant find a good place to mountthe spring compressors to the springs, everyway i try wither the 2 threaded shats are hitting something or i cant get the hook part onto the spring..

 

If you are talking about the fronts, take the entire assembly out and use the spring compressors when the strut if off the car. Just don't remove (loosen only) the center bolt when you take out the other three nuts (on each side) in the engine bay.
