18x8 or 8.5 35et on 5th gen?

I am looking at a set of wheels in either 18x8 or 18x8.5 with a 35 offset, the tires will have a minor stretch, will this setup fit without modding the fenders. The car is on coilovers.

Thanks

Sorry to thread jack but I have a very similar question and I feel it's pointless to clutter the org with another thread.

4th gen- 18x7.5" with 40mm offset. I'll be on Eibach's. Will anything rub? How will the rears line up with the fenders? I want the rims/tires to be flush with the fender.

I believe you will not have any rubbing issues, but it definately wont be flush.

No fender modding needed. And you probabl wont need to stretch at all either.

Your wheels will look like they are hiding from the world.

18x8.5 ET35 will sit fairly flush in the front w/ a 245 series tire. The rear will set in just a bit, but nothing major. There will be no rubbing issues and you won't have to stretch your tire. I'm lowered 1.6" on 19x8.5 with 245 series tire on a ET35 wheel and have never rubbed. Hope this helps.
