Splice 99 o2 Sensor onto 95 Sensor!

Does anyone have experience with this? Will it throw any codes, or lead to future problems?? Thanks!
Replaced my failing '95 FULL exhaust with a '99 Max exhaust. But now I'm stuck and it looks like I HAVE to SPLICE the two o2 Sensors so that I have a 99 o2 Sensor on a'95 adapter.

95 o2 Sensor (non-Cali). Smaller adapter going into Cabin hole, smaller fitting wont fit onto '99 Cat.
3 WIRES-
RED
WHITE
BLACK

99 o2 Sensor (non-Cali). Big adapter going into cabin (cant fit into smaller 95 hole+Incompatible socket doesnt match 95 plug).Big Cat Fitting for '99 Cat.
4 WIRE-
BLUE
WHITE
BLACK
BLACK

Does anyone have experience with this? Will it throw any codes, or lead to future problems?? Thanks!

Rear O2's dont affect how the car runs. Its just to tell the ECU that you have a functioning rear cat.
