New Ball Joint a little loose?

I just installed a new MOOG Ball joint on the left side, and I didn't really need the press to put it in. It's the correct replacement ball joint I confimed it. But it is a little bit loose where it sits in the control arm hole, and it seems like only the clip is holding it in. is this okay, or should it be a very tight fit?

if it can move at all, then you probably need a new arm.

you may also want to try some other brands as well, I have seen cases where moog's standard was too exact so it had play.

seriousely? That's fukin stupid of MOOG, They oughtta catch on to their standard exactness being a problem....
Too late for me though, this ball joints been around for almost 2 years now, and I've just ordered a new L side arm...
I mean, I'm not going to go through a bunch of ball joints just to see if one will fit

it's not a common issue at all, in the one case where it was common, they made an oversized ball joint to solve the issue.
