"At the test track it performed even better than we expected. After only a few runs to get familiar with the car we were able to turn consistent 0-to-60-mph times of under seven seconds. Our quickest was 6.88 seconds"- Autoweek on 2001 Maxima SE 5speed

Has any one with a 5speed 01 5 speed reached 0-60 in 6.88 seconds ?

I'm sure there has since there have been alot of guys running in the 14's. I don't know the calculations based on track times though.

CarTest2000 shows a 00 Maxima 5spd hitting 6.67s to 60mph, and 15.2s in the 1/4 mile. CarTest2k is a mighty fine auto simulation package, BTW. I've found it to be very accurate when I've used it and compared it to actual street results

If the G35 doesn't come with a manual tranny, it's off my wish list.

No manual means I'll have to get an S4 (reliability woes, here I come)

I think it will have a manual. Look at it this way......nissan puts a manual into everything...except Infiniti's However, the technology is there, since its really a 4 door Z car, and they KNOW to compete with a 3 series/cts/c-clas/A4 it needs to have a manual. I think it will, maybe it'll have 6 clogs!

GTR Price

Anyone venture to make an educated guess on what the price of the GT-R will be?

oh yes, easy baby. I have a 2000 GXE (no difference between 2k and 2k1) had one passenger and a heavy sub box in the trunk, using this device from RadioShack that measures gravitation, did 6.8.

I would love an M5...but $70K is out of my range. Come to think of it, I would love an M3...but $50K is out of my range too.

what's wrong with the S4??????
awesome power mated to AWD....with $6k you can upgrade
to bigger turbos and really fly.
read audiworld.com forums, no real reliability issues now
but only 400 2k2 models in the US so move quickly
(production ended in july)
