rear lisence plate mount??

I got an 02 se about a week or so ago and when I went to mount the new plate the plastic threaded parts where the screws go in seem to be loose. I can only thread in the screws a short way before the threaded part just spins. so the plate is pretty damn loose and rattles bad. any ideas, or is there a common fix for this? thanks guys

Get new receivers or use a thicker screw? They're just plastic...

yeah, just wasnt sure if it was common or anything. hoping I can get the screws back out to replace the inserts. how are they supposed to stay in there securely without rotating as you turn the screws?

because what I am screwing into spins in place. the screws are tight, the threaded piece is NOT. this is what gives the the frustrating problem lol!

Not behind the plate. Inside the trunk.
