I have 126,000 miles on the car and I haven't changed the spark plugs yet. Sometimes I have the lumpy cam feel and it continues when I accelerate. When I maintain speed though everything feels fine. This happened a month ago and then again today. No fix engine lights.

I would prefer to fix things myself. What could it be?

Try changing the plugs first and report back. NGK Platinum is the way to go.
