How Can I Fix My Arm Rest?

Hey everyone, I have a 2000 Maxima SE, and just got into the modding game. I plan to completely change the car inside and outside. The interior needs a lot of work as some things are falling off or are ripped. One thing that needs to be fixed is the arm rest. Here is a picture of it Broken Arm Rest. As you can see, the leather on the top of the arm rest is ripping off.

So... what are my options? Spray paint, dye, new arm rest, etc.? What do you recommend?

Thanks

take it off and take it to a good upholstery shop and they should be able to take care of it no problem.

I like the passenger side hair brush mod

I'm glad you like the hair brush mod So how much do you think an upholstery shop would do it for?

Check ebay and the Org.

You can also get the replacement in leather. (you will see a world of difference between the real and what nissan used.) There is a vendor who drops deals here on the Org. from time to time. I got a replacement on ebay. It cost 19 plus shipping. It took a while because it came from england and had to clear customs.

Do you think you could find a replacement arm rest in black instead of brown? Because I am painting the car black and getting the whole interior changed to black as well, so I don't want brown.

Get the Redline leather armrest cover. It's amazing quality and looks so good. Paint the plastic pieces black with interior paint and get the leather cover. Bam.

Where can I get that armrest cover from? And what type of paint should I use?

check here for discount code

Paint, they should sell it at Autozone or other parts stores. Krylon plastic paints or an equivalent should do fine.

For the arm rest cover, it says it is for 02-03. Will it work on my 00?
