Car dies at cold starts only, no CEL...:(

Hey, guys, recently my car started to die from time to time at cold starts or it would almost die and then pick up the RPMS. There is no check engine light. Did some search and could not find anything. Thank you for the help

I've had this before but only happens when I start my max with the remote start... and when its real cold. My optima recently took a crap and I havent noticed it happen again so I'm kinda thinking the optima was weak to begin with.

If that doesn't work, check your engine coolant temp sensor.

My 96 Max has had difficulty starting in cold for 3 or 4 years now. Did the cleaning help? I have to pump the pedal for a few seconds up to 2k and it idles fine. Let me know please.
