Tail Light Removal

Hi, looking for any and all ideas on how to remove the weatherstripping sealant used on the tail lamp housing. I've tried using a small flat head and peeling slowly, but it's cold outside lol. Any faster methods? If it helps any, the lights are of no use to me after they come out, I've contemplated a large hammer already

Try using a hair dryer or heat gun to warm and soften the weather stripping then just pull the light out...after you remove the 4 8mm nuts holding each one on of course.

step one:remove the 4 nuts
step two: heat up the back of the housing with a blow dryer
step three: push the back of the housing
step four: it should be out now
