im looking for axles, which brand is a good brand to go with?? i found some A1 cardone axles that come with the 100% neoporene boots.. $65.00 for one..

are these raxles stronger than oem replacements? cause i have axles that i got from an auto parts store and i keep braking axles due to the car being lowered. i have lifetime warrenty on them so i can just take them off and swap them out and have them back on within 45min.
i've been told about these axles but dont want to pay double of what i paid and they brake or last just as long as the axles i have on already.
and plus, whats the wait time to replace axles through raxles 3, 4 days?...

i'll be sending in my Raxles for a rebuild and putting on some inexpensive ones once i turn back to stock... i'll be selling the Raxles once i have the time to take them out... only thing is it will probably happen over my spring break which is end of march to beginning of april. selling for $300 picked up if youre interested.

Generally speaking, yes. They use brand new joints, not re-manufactured units and they use synthetic grease.

turn around time depends on shipping. But once marty gets the axle in the morning, he can usually ship it back out on the same day to you. You don't have to pay for shipping to you, but you do have to pay for shipping it to him.

 

...and if you buy new from Marty (Raxles), make sure you return your cores ASAP(with the shipping label he conveniently provides)...otherwise sometime down the road he's going to charge you $160 for not returning them, and you'll now have to pay for shipping yourself (~$32)

...and while your down there replacing stuff (and the fact your going to have to get an alignment)...you should take a look at the LCA/Ball Joints, Tie Rods, Sway Bar Endlinks and all the little bushings to help your suspension go back to its factory state...

 

i actually need to replace all that, maybe thats why i'm breaking axles frequently?...

 

does it matter if my car is stick shift?? can i use automatic axles..??? i know that even if i got axles with abs i can use it on my car without the abs... please help me... i dont have the abs module or abs motor

...more information can be found at Raxles.com, tell him you need new axles and he'll ask you a series of questions about the vehicle, (i.e. ABS, automatic/manual, etc.) and in no more than 5 minutes time, you'll have placed an order.

 

Raxles are great quality pieces, though I have never had a problem with a cheapo parts store replacement axle through four 4th gens and all the racing (drag and road course) and transmission swapping that I've done (non-LSD to LSD and back again, etc), with maximas that are lowered about 2.5-2.75" on coilovers.

i don't have personal experience with raxles, but what keeps me away is the fact you have to ship them back if they're defective or happen to break.
while i'm sure the csr(marty?) will cover the cost of shipping you a new axle, you will still have to ship your old axle(out of pocket) and then face at least a week of downtime. keep that in mind before ordering.
however, from what i've read on the org, they are pretty reliable so you probably won't find yourself in this situation.

 

Haven't heard about to many people having issues with them though. I know i've never had an issue with mine so wouldn't worry about it to much.
