Just need a little advice

I did some work to my car in the last 5 months. I haven't started it at all in this time. Is there anything i should do before starting it up? The reason i ask is because i have read on here about the timming chain tensioner lossening and the chain jumping a tooth.

Any advice would be great

Thanks

just to be on the safe side of things--remove all spark plugs and fuel pump fuse. that will remove any load/resistance to the starter, while you crank it over to build oil pressure back into the system and relube everything internally. 2 or 3 20 second cranks should "gitter done". reinstall plugs & fuse and start as usual. or just start w/o all the fanfare, it'll be fine!!!
