I don't know about where u live, but here in Boston, MA, the cops will stop u if ur tints are too dark.

That's why I went with 35% all around including sunroof. In the day time I notice that you can see through the car a lot, but in the night time it does look dark.

I've decided to change them this spring n go with a 27% because 35% looks too light. U can barely notice it's tinted.

U can see my sig. to see how light it looks during the day time.

ONE convienience of CA. It can be any tint on back as long as you have side mirrors, none on pass or drive. =)

with sunroof closed you struggle to see in it during the day.
i have no idea what the laws are around where you live tho.

I plan on getting mine done after the swap. My car's registered in FL but I live in GA . I had to go to court for a speeding ticket a few weeks ago and noticed that about 50% of the tickets were issued for tint violations. Anyone know what you can get away with in GA?

In GA your back windows and rear windshield can be as dark as you want, but the front windows cannot be below 35%

if your car is registered in FL, then you shouldnt have any problems w tints...because last time i checked, you can have any percentage of tint on all windows except the front windshield. tell em "its not illegal in florida, owned." maybe dont say owned at the end lol.

Florida does have VERY specific tint laws:
Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. Front Side Windows Must allow more than 28% of light in. Back Side Windows Must allow more than 15% of light in. Rear Window Must allow more than 15% of light in.However - if your car is 85 or older you can do what you want, since that's the year of the law...
