wanting pics of hidden hitch installed
No pics, sorry - but I can tell you that the ONLY thing you see from the back is the receiver plug.
Mine came with a black plastic insert, and it's very inconspicuous from the rear.
I'm a total minimalist, and the hidden hitch didn't offend me in the least.
had mine on the car for several years now -- used it more times than I can count towing uhauls, utility trailers, my bike, etc -- quite a handy little mod for low-dough, imho.
The hardest part was threading those frame bolts thru the hitch frame...
Wiring harness was a bit maddening too -- but I finally soldered those connections, and it is now a perm. fixture in the rear.
good luck.

agree with the above, with the black plug insert, it's very difficult to tell it's there. Mine was U-haul branded but appears to be Draw-Tite 24686. The '00 is a little easier than the '02 because it has welded nuts in the frame on both sides. As for the wiring harness, it's well worth the price to let the local U-Haul or other hitch installers do it. When I transferred my hitch and wire harness from my '00 to the '02 I tried to directly copy the connections and still managed to completely miss wire it.
