i have a 5.5 gen max
im hearing a noise around the left rear strut. well im not sure if its the struts but it sounds like its coming from the strut. beside the strut what else can give me a noise( Rattling noise). i know the front suspenion has alot of bushings and stuff but the back, i mean i dont see much.
it only happens when hitting bumps. im have tockico illuimas 3

Have a reoccuring rattle in mine.Turns out it is a loose fitting brake pad.They have a shim kit for that which seems to require new pads,but it keeps returning.SUCKS!!!!! Nobody on here seems to suffer this or has any permanent fixes for this.

 

yeah my rear pads(akebono) have the same problem....its a good thing i gotta change out the rotors soon anyhow might as well do the pads also..

 

It could be an exhaust hanger. I was getting a lot of noise from the rear and was going to change out my struts. But then I got under my car, shook the hell out of my exhaust and knew there was the problem. The guy I took it to said it was a common problem with Max's.
