HELP!!! just drove into a deep puddle!

As the title says, i just drove through a deep puddle, and i have one of those injen "straws". must have sucked up a small amount of water, cuz it stalled out. and now, as long as the clutch is in, or whenever i try to idle it stalls unless i give it gas. could be a maf i thought, but i took it around the block and got on the gas in a couple spots, and it didnt really choke like a bad maf; it was pretty responsive.

thoughts? maybe this will be ok if it just dries out?

Not sure if this directly applies to you or not. My 01 had this issue a year ago, but I didn't drive through a puddle. Turned out it was the IACV. It would stall at idle but run fine, especially when revving the engine. MAF was fine. It actually fried the ECM along with it. Good luck.

Doesn't sound like you did any major damage since it still runs. My money is on the maf, IACV is another good guess, these same symptoms also happen if your car is poorly grounded. letting things dry out may take care of things though

check your oil for a milky color, if so you got water into the cylinders. If not, you may have ruined a sensor but chances are youre otherwise good

Edit: TOSS THAT INJEN!!! its just on there robbing power and risking the life of your engine. You can make a short ram intake from the parts you already have
