so i scooped up these 19x9.5 katana cr5 rims offset im not sure i think 45 but all around fits perfect the rear actually needed a spacer to make more flush but overall im very pleased with the stance.

pretty nice looking wheels, i had the katana KR5 black with polished lip on my black max. go easy on the tires though, they are pretty pricey.

At least on our generation. However, newer Maximas can pull off 19-20" rims no problem.

yea i totally agree i actually wanted 18x9.5 but was impatient to find some that would fit & that i liked without putting a hole in my wallet lol but i got these 19's basically for free lol dude had them on his g35 w/ new hankook tires & was tired of the look so he wanted to trade for 2006 350z 5-spoke oem wheels so i jumped on it, but when i find some 18x9.5's im going to most definitly get them

Thats a bit too much stretch for me but the fitment is pretty aggressive. Something different for sure.

Im about 100% certain that if you get tires that are adequate width for those wheels that you will have hardcore rubbing problems unless you get those spacers out of there

That's because they look more luxurious. IMO, our generation is the last of the sporty looking cars.

OP. I am not saying that those aren't nice wheels. I just don't like they look our your car. IMO, stock G35 wheels would have looked much better. even staggered.

IMO, repairs before upgrades. To do otherwise is rice.

I actually like the wheels; they're tough. But not on a 5th gen. The tires don't look like they fit, and the rims stick out away from the car. Very weird looking, to me.

Lastly; 3 megapixel images is a fail on the forum. It really screws up thread layout.

They would look good on a new Camaro. Black

If they didn't have that dopey lip or stretched tires, it'd look better IMO. But who am I to talk? I'm rolling on beat up G35s...lol

Definitely need to go about an inch lower to really pull them off, but offset is good.

Is it even safe to ride on those stretched out tires?
It just looks so wrong. I'm sorry OP, it just does.

Since there wasn't any stated point to the thread except "look at my rims",
I figure it's open season on opinions. I'm not hating... I'm just explaining my opinion.

No.

seriously every other max on here has either G35/350Z boat anchors on it, atleast his look is unique and something different. i personally like it, he just needs coilovers.

I'm pretty sure it is, a lot of people are riding on stretched tires, you just have to be careful not to stretch them so far that the bead pops and the tire disintegrates at speed.

if ur asking if THATS safe u need to go out to more meets and see what people are riding on, he wont have a problem unless he hits a HUGE pothole, but huge potholes would **** all of us.

a friend of mine is running 235/35/19 on a 10.5 its retarded.

I agree with Crusher, too many Z/G wheels here anyways. They look good the first and second time around but I have yet to see very many unique (in style and fitment) from here (aside from a few members)
