As indicated, looked for a damaged grille I can do some major hacking to. Don't want to destroy a good one. Help a .orger out! Sell me your trash!

 

Curious why you need this? Do you plan on doing a custom grille? I was in the same boat and ended up just getting a cheap OE replacement off ebay to work on. Eitherway good luck.

 

Yeah, I'm going to do some gutting and experimentation. The grille is the absolute one thing on the 5/5.5 gens that I don't like.....just semething wrong with the grille sitting flush with the front bumper...needs more dimension!

There's something wrong with me, I know, I'm gettng treatment. Initial treatment consisted of two eyelids and a large horse pill of a Stillen Classic front lip. However, if I don't do something with the grille, I'm afraid it may be terminal.

 

What are you looking at doing with the grille? I don't think there are a lot of options considering that unusual..erm...thing on the bumper that the grille conveniently covers up.

I'll keep my eyes peeled and let you know if I find anything. Have you checked Pull-A-Part?

 

Been a week or two, didn't see anything newer then a 4th gen. I will check again....never seen a 5th gen there though....not in Knoxville, which is closest at 1.5hrs drive. I've noticed most 2000+ vehicles in this area get shipped to Nashville or surrounding area. When my '01 Infiniti was totalled, it got sent somewhere around Nashville, some yard Allstate uses down that way. * Update: Just checked, nothing in Maxima or Infiniti for 2000+ years.

Yeah, that thing behind the bumper is going to go too. Already have what I need to resolve that "little" support peice issue.
