Installed turbo timer and can't find VSS signal...

I figured I would get more responses in here. I just installed a Greddy Auto Turbo Timer and cannot find a VSS signal due to the fact that my A33B does not have a VSS (manual). Greddy is telling me I am pretty much SOL with that feature of the device. The turbo timer still works if I set a time for it to run after ignition is turned off, but I would like the Auto function to be enabled (hence the fact that I purchased this particular model) and it won't with a speed signal.

Is there another SAFE place to get the VSS signal?

No VSS wire at PCM. It is probably a bynary signal.

VSS from Quest may work. I will buy one and wire it in. Will see what happens.

vss wire is behind the cluster behind the speedometer. I forgot the color but if you search in the audio forum they will have the answer there because a lot of Navigation units need the VSS wire. Good luck

Wire 68 on the ECU plug is the speed signal.

at 6mph its 2.5 v

at 19 mph its 2.0 v

page EC-148

im a 6spd too and i have this wire, its to tell the ECU how fast the car is going for cruise functions and i think speed limiter.

Wire 68 on the ECU is VSS, which is in fact the pink wire behind the cluster.

Thanks everyone for your help!!
