00vi vias arm in UIM

I just got done cleaning the UIM and doing the VIAS fix to save me some future headaches, but once i go it reassembled the Arm with the butterfly valves in the UIM doesn't turn as smoothly as before. it will turn but feels like it needs to be lubricated and requires a lot of force...like me using pliers to turn it. Any help on this?

its probably the orings/clip thingys that go around the rod. its hard to explain, but its basically the only parts that touch the inside of the manifold at each port.
