I've had them for a while, and they look great. Super bright, and everything... but I can't use cruise control!

I know this has something to do with the cruise control module getting the wrong voltage or resistance (not sure) but I don't know how to fix it... can anyone send some pointers my way?

Cool, is that what I need? I'm assuming i solder it in place on the positive wire (before it connects to the harness on the tail light)? That makes sense, I think.

How do I calculate how powerful of a resistor I need? Nooby questions... but I am god awful at wiring stuff.

 

haha im knda a LED noob i know they sell the resistors at autozone/advance but might be cheaper at radio shack not sure what size or how to wire up tho i am sure someone will chime in

I wonder what these LED tails would look like tinted black... Kinda like the Altima SE-R's shade of black.

 

I plan on lightly smoking mine when I get a chance. I don't like that they're entirely red.

I would add a light tint to those tail lights.

 

I'd love to see some pics after you smoke yours. If it looks good I might buy those tails. How's the light output? They look dim in those eBay pictures.

you need to solder some resistors in line-probably a high watt (lows will melt right off) so maybe like 40-50watt and like 3-4 ohm should do.

 

I haven't heard of the cruise control problem. Does anyone have these (http://www.usspeed.com/Exterior-Acce...il-Lights-IPCW) and the same problem? I was considering these only because I didn't know about cheaper ones. To save $250, I could smoke them myself!

 

Me I'm just going to get the SE tails no tint needed on them like the ones Scottwax has!!

Wow, I never heard of a cruise control problem just because you put in LED's. Has anyone had this problem by replacing the bulbs with LED bulbs? I ordered LED brake/tail and signal bulbs for my 03, just wondering if I am going to have any problems with the cruise.
