Surprise on first attempt to take off the MAF sensor...

As the subject title states, was about to clean the MAF sensor and noticed I need a set of security/tamper proof torx bits. Anyone know where a good place is to get them, or order them?

Or do what I did when the security torx that came with the fujita didn't fit....Use pliers, but I don't recommend that method...hahahah.

Not for the 05 actually, which is why I started a thread. Anyone have any pics of where the MAF sensor needs to be cleaned? I took off the airfilter cover and looked at it, but it looks clean. I'd like to clean it still because of the possible little oil from the K&N air filter I recently cleaned and re-oiled...

Its not regular phillips heads its a special tool... Snap on sells the bit & also you can go to a local shop and see if they have it. I ran into this same problem & a friend of mine @ a shop had the bit to remove it.. then i went home & searched my garage and i found the one that came with my fujita.. GL

Ya I found various options online, and considering ordering them if I absolutely need it. This long weekend i'm going to go over it with my cousin to see if it actually needs cleaning or not despite it looking fine to me. As for the local store i'm going to see if they got them, highly doubt it though.
