Stillen Rotors/Hawk Pads question

On my Max I installed for the front Stillen pillar vane rotors slotted ones and hawk pads hps.

For the first few months with them everything was great no noises. I now hear some type of grinding noise coming from the brakes when coming to a stop after the pads have heated up driving for a while.

Anyone have any ideas as to what this could be?

I was thinking maybe my calipers are screwed up?

The shim on my hps pads (they are attached at production and should not have any play) slid out and was grinding against my rotor. If that makes no sense, look at this video I made a while ago.

Take off your wheels and inspect.

I had powerslots front and rear on my Titan that were doing the same thing, Very rough feel when stopping. I took them off and bought some frozen rotors, now it stops smooth as silk. What happens is the brake dust accumulates in the groove and packs in so tight that the rotors become rough. Atleast that's what happened to mine. I know they look cool and all but in my opinion slotted rotors are the worst investment for street driving.

I've had the Stillen X-drilled 6th gen front Rotors/w Hawk Pads for 7 yrs now and they've been flawless!
