Are there any 2-channel bridgeable or mono amplifiers that have external crossovers?
I'm looking to buy a 2-channel bridgeable or mono amplifier to drive a single 6x9 speaker. I basically have the speaker and a 15V power supply sitting around at home, so I want to make my own "boom box".
However, for this I will need an amplifier that doesn't have highpass/lowpass filters - the 6x9 is a very nice infinity kappa and I want it to be making the full range of sounds. Plus, sound quality is secondary in this job.
Do you know if generally amplifiers have crossovers that you can turn off? Or if they are external, that would make things very simple!

Hmm, well that's encouraging. I plan to have a HPF in the input stage. Do you have any experience 'defeating' a crossover on an amplifier? What should I look for as resources to do this?
