Ok, there seems to be some confusion on what model gauges are optimal for tweaking the light color with LEDs and Bulbs. This is mainly an informative for which gauge's blue tint CAN be removed.
From what I've gathered...
95-97 Black Gauges = Blue film is sand-able ONLY on RPM gauge.
95-99 SE WHITE gauges = Not many options but white due to blue film being part of the plastic
99 SE-L Titanium = ???
Is this correct? Should I ever bother attempting to go Amber or Red on my 99 SE-L gauges? They have a bit of a titanium color as the SE-L's were themed with.

This is kind of OT but still in the l,ighting relm.. I was in a new Chrysler minivan tonight and I saw that the runner at the top of the van where the pockets and **** are had ambient lighting through the sides of them.. I'm thinking that could be cool for say open door lighting....
Back on topic though, I would like to do LEDs in my gauges.... Do the reverse glow have the bile tint too?
Edit: ipads suck ***. Bile? Really mr iPad? Blue.

From what I know you can swap the regular bulbs that light up the indicators (There's 4 of them) for a different colour bulb and that will give you a different color.
On SE gauges the plastic film that the numbers are made of is a slight yellow tint because of the material, but most of the yellowishness comes from the bulb being a yellow color.
So, I haven't tried it yet, but will be soon. What can be done is to put in LED lights of the desired color and that should change it.
Also, reverse glow gauges are the best, FallenOne where did you get yours? I've been looking all over and so far haven't found anything good.
