Need help removing the ecm

Need help removing the ecm

Does anyone know how to loosen the front bracket screws on the ecm? I am having a B@tch of a time

You can remove the ECM without taking out the bracket. If I remember right it's like two screws on each side. The screws are tight but with some torque they can be cracked it's just in a tight spot with not alot of elbow room.

Thank you I found the 4 screws but I need some kind of tool to get the 2 front 1s I will have to pick up a angle screwdriver unless someone has another way.

It been about a year since I replaced mine, but don't the screws have a metric head on them with a phillips fitting in the middle. If that's the case use a ratcheting wrench 8-10mm to crack the screw.

Bumping this old thread. I'm having trouble removing the ECM.

I have the glovebox removed and kick panel and I removed the wire connector from the ECM but don't know how to take it off. I see screws all over the place.

Are the ones I'm looking for the brass/gold screws that lay horizontal along the front of it. Or are they the two 10 mm bolts with screw heads that bolts a bracket to the floor and lie vertical?
