Dek swap problems

Dek swap problems

I did a dek swap(Lightly moded) and im having an overheating problem i put the de coolant tempsensor on the dek and the little black sensor in front of (i think they are suppoes to be switched not sure) But my engine is overheatings under Light /heavy load even sometimes when im driving normal for a long distance . Coolant bubbles and under my hood looks as if it was pouring out of my resorvoir I ReALLY NEED SOME HELP BECAUSE IM ABOUT TO GIVE UP ON THE MAX GAME........... I have a dek swapped 4thgen, greddysp2,testpipe,pop charger,y-pipe with 3inch flex,and jwt ecu PLease help!!!

It could be your thermostat that's not opening up.

When i first put the motor in and starting doing sme tuning I noticed it was overheating so i put the de tstat on the dek and it was doing the same . I think might geta brand new tstat

That is correct depending on what coolant log he has.

Codes?? Which T-stat did you replace? Timing chain side? or By the temp sensor?

He switched the one from his old motor to the DEK and still has the same problem. He thinks the head gasket is blown.

I'm not terribly familiar with the DEK coolant tube (if that is where the second t-stat is), but according to his first post, he just transferred the sensors to the DEK coolant tube. So if there is one in the coolant tube, that would be my guess. Would also explain the bubbles in the coolant since it's a restriction prior to the water pump.
