Was wondering if anybody had experience replacing the hood release cable. My cable is loose and frayed and need to be replaced immediately. What are the steps and was it easy to get to from the engine bay to the latch inside the cab?

Anyways, I have not replaced the cable, but what I would do is tie the new cable to the end of the old one, so when you pull it out, the new cable just takes the place of the old one.
