Got wheel alignment and tires balanced, read...

I had been getting all those infamous steering wheel vibrations etc which people say are caused by bad alignment/tire balance, and whoever drove my car was like dude WTF . So I decided to get off my lazy *** and get it all done today, went to pep boys and got a wheel alignment and also the tires balanced. Car drives MUCH better now, it made the steering wheel a little more stiffer (in a good way), and it seems like the suspension has gotten better too (as far as taking bumps etc). I haven't really done a long highway drive yet so I have yet to find out if all those vibrations are gone, but whatever driving I did do, I was very happy with it and it got me in the mood to drive hard and play around on the highway. So my point is, a lot of people who post here about all types of shaking/vibrations and stuff like that and don't know what is causing it, just go get an alignment and get your tires balanced, and it will take care of most of your problems. Total was $102.00 something for the alignment and tire balancing with taxes, small price to pay for a much better driving/handling car. So like I said, if you have any of those problems, or even if you don't, just get it done!

P.S. The pep boys mechanic took my car for a test drive, and he comes back and says the alignment and everything is done, but your car's struts suck, they're very hard on bumps and stuff, you should've put on the OEM struts (he thought I had some cheap a*s non-OEM struts). I was like those are the OEM struts (and not like they're old, they were just replaced at Nissan about a 1000 miles ago). So I thought to myself, well that's the maxima's suspension for you dude. Then he was telling me that the best struts/shocks for my car are the Tokicos. I was like I'm going to put KYB AGX, he said they suck (but that's not what i've been reading on here so I'm still going to put them on, guess he doesn't know what he's talking about).

KYB/AGX

Lowering my car with springs (ST) totally screwed my stock struts & shocks (OEM). I put on the KYB's about a month or so ago and I am thrilled to death with them. The only complaint I have is that with my big wheels and low drop they are kinda hard to adjust but the handling is so superior! I also liked the Tokico blue, good for the money, but I'm glad I sold them and go the KYB's. Go for it, Pep Boy's mechanics are good for alignments and stuff, but...

Uh, stuck? LOL. Tokicos? LOL! I have them; they stink. This mechanic dude must have a Honda, given all his comments hehe.
