Need pic of 4 gen dash with key turned to on

I think my CEL bulb is burned out or something like that.I just noticed that when I turn the key to on it doesn't light up.

So if someone could post of a pick of their dash with the key in the on position that would be great.!

Tnx

I didn't think mine lit up when turning the key to on either, so I went to check (with camera in hand). Sure enough, doesn't. And I know mine works, because it just came on for the first time in 15 years last week (stupid EGR .... I've been putting off cleaning that thing for like a year now lol). BTW, I hope you didn't burn out your CEL light LOL. I sometimes feel like I'm gonna burn out my gas light .... I do use it quite a bit J/K

The bulb/indicator is at the bottom grouping on the right side of the cluster under the temp gauge.

I think the light should come on when starting the car and then go right out. Mine was burnt out

Yes, the light is suppose to be on when key is in ON position and car not running. Make sure it is there. If not, your bulb is out.

Since you have a 99, yours should be located on the other side where those other lights are. The light does not come on at initial startup. Only when you are very low on gas.

You're saying my gas light should be on the left side? my light must be blown because I've never seen it and I've nearly ran out of gas before and never has a gas light ever came on... I need to check that out. Thanks

Get the gauge to stay on E and park on a very steep hill with the front of the car pointing up. Wait for the engine to get cold and then start the car. Then you will know if it works or not.

I thought the same thing until the same thing happened to me last week.

The P0734 and the knock sensor code are only the real ones because I was when I did a tune up at first I took the air box off and drove off in the car with the MAF and the Air temp gauge unplugged.I'm not worried about the P0734 because I rarely get on the freeway and when I was taking the freeway to get to the beach I didn't notice any issues.I may change the knock sensor.Gas mileage is around 20 or so 98% city driving.

I would also like to add that I just did a drain and fill on the transmission as the fluid looked worse than motor oil

I've got codes P0100 and P0734, got the P0734 first. I noticed you have both codes at same time too, they seem like they wouldn't be related, but does anyone think they could be? I cleared both codes, will see if they come back after driving it for a bit

Well I have owned the car for about a month now and it has 123k on it.The car has alot of orginal parts so the P0734 may have happened a while ago because the trans fluid was brown. The P0100 happened because when I was cleaning doing a tune up I forgot the plug the MaF and Air temp sensors back up.So I started driving and the car stalled. The knock sensor I have not gotten too and will do at a later time when I do the rear sway bar.
