Alright so i found out i had a craked radiator yesterday, had it replaced today and afterwards i took it to the local jiffy lube to get an oil change.

While driving there the car started to overheat and jerk when ever i tried to acclerate. and not to long after it would jus shut off

anybody have any ideas on what the problem would be ???

 

Well if the car started to overheat, you should probably go straight back to the mechanic that put the radiator in. as for the jerking i'm not too sure..

 

wow , sounds pretty much like what mine has been doing....only no radiator replacement involved....my temperature maintains, never overheats, but my car will kinda choke when i go to accelerate, then if i drop to idle speed at a turn, stop or sit at light...it just drops and dies on me....tested all the emissions sensors, replaced knock sensor and IACV...everything else tested good...but still having stalling problem....gonna check out the TPS and the MAF this weekend more thoroughly....dont know what else it could be??

 

My step father is the one who changed the radiator and as far as we know he did everything right, but now we've got an mechanic looking at it now so hopefully things will turn out better.
