First time at the track ... 1/8 mile

posted this in 6th gen section .. forgot about this section


So yesterday i went to a 1/8 track for the first time

i have the crappiest tires

just got forced by some friends to go



my best for the night

1/8 mile speed =79mph
1/8 mile time =9.1
0-60 ft time =2.25

.6 reaction time

Good / Bad / decent ?

all opinions welcome

Not bad. I would've expected better times. If it were cooler I'm pretty sure you would've at least hit 8.9-9.0. When I hit my 9.1@78 it was in the low 60's I believe. And I have less mods along with the same tranny.

What was the temperature during that run?

it was hot as hell LOL

i was sweating crazy thats all i know

and it was my first time at the track so i skipped all the little details

will be sure to get it next time i go with better tires

my first run i gave it full throtle LOL

spinned all in first second and a little in third LOL (stupid i know)

i'll be ready next time though

oh and i raced at houston motorsport park

Depending on what time you ran here are the DAs according to Dragtimes.

5:53PM - 2055DA
6:53PM - 1940DA
7:53PM - 1808DA
8:53PM - 1740DA
9:53PM - 1449DA
10:53PM - 1246DA
11:53PM - 1115DA

Basically the higher the DA, the higher your times will be.
