My 2009 maxima will beep a couple of times whenever I turn my engine on or off, I looked in the manual and couldn't find anything pertaining to the beeps I am hearing, all my fluids are good, tires are good, I tried looking on the internet and on the forums before I posted this thread. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Are your lights left on (and not on auto)? Is it a beep or chime? Any aftermarket alarm?

 

My lights are off, no aftermarket alarms , just doing the normal procedures

 

Could there be a beep if the fob battery is low? No one else has chimed in so I am just throwing things out there.

 

Strange Stuff. The only thing I could think of is lights are on (being the obvious choice) and you have ruled that out. However, if there is no warning or light on the dash then worst case scenario would be bad wiring. Get the stealership to check it out.

Maybe your car is just sad to see you go and is beeping in affection

 

My front left lights went out (aftermarket HID) I replaced them with a better brand and quality and the beeps went away for now, but I'm not ruling it out, any other ideas as to why it made beeps? Thanx to those members that posted ideas to why my max is beeping. Thanx!

 

maybe you have one of the doors/trunk open? sorry for the dumb reply but its all i can think of
