That would be kind of nice if I could get that to work on my car...

I know that if you are outside and unlock the car with the remote, after a spell without opening any doors it will relock, perhaps yours is doing the same, but the wrong reason...

if you bumped the unlock on your key fob, and you did not open a door, it should be set up in your personal settings to re-lock all doors and arm after 2 or 5 minutes.

i didnt use my key fob. i use the door handle to unlock it, and then split second, the door lock itself...

I can't post a new thread so I have to bump this old thread - apologies for that.

I am having a similar issue as the poster above with my 05SE, 66k miles. If I unlock all the doors with my key fob or unlock all doors with my key, they all lock itself after a split second. I CAN open the driver side door only by using the key.

Also, the driver side door was unlocked when I was driving the car today and it locked itself while I was driving.

Does anyone know what may have caused this? I have never had any door lock issues before.

Try taking the battery out of your key fob and only use your key, then see what happens.

I tried a second key fob and this is still happening. Also, if I unlock the doors using the lock/unlock button on either the driver or passenger doors the doors lock right away. The only way to unlock a door and keep it open is by using the key to open only the driver door or by manually unlocking each door using the silver unlock/lock tab.

Any suggestions appreciated before I take it to the stealership.

This is a weird issue. I'll look at the schematic tomorrow and see if anything looks like it could be the issue. Maybe the BCM going nuts?

Any updates?

Curious to know as well. Symptoms sound like the master unlock switch on the driver door is failing. It tends to do screwy unexplainable stuff when its failing lol.
