exhaust system clanging underneath - any ways to secure other than hangers?

Guys,
my exhaust system is clanging around underneath. The hanger on the b-pipe is broken, and I am thinking the hangers by the y-pipe are shot. Because most of it is covered in surface rust, it is next to impossible to secure new hangers. Is there any other temporary solutions you guys have? If I keep the car, I will replace the y & b pipes with budget SS, but I want to get through winter for now as-is (I hardly drive it anymore as I live downtown Toronto).

I worry that by letting it clang around, it may put a lot of stress on the header area by the engine. Should I be worried about this, or will the flex pipe in the y-pipe help alleviate most of this twisting stress?

Mine had this problem. The hanger on the b-pipe broke then about 8 months later it caused the a part of the break cause a big exhaust leak just past the rear flange just above the rear axle. I replaced it with a Megan Racing OE-RS catback $318.00 shipped from JDMhub.com. You can get a large hose clamp a put it around the exhaust to the brace that goes across the the exhuast channel it is near the 90 degree bend just below the rear seat. That will keep it from jiggling around and making noise.
