So I closed my rear driver side door with the strap of my backpack caught in it and the door was stuck shut so I had to yank the strap out with the door still shut. So now the strap is freed but the door is still stuck shut. It locks and unlocks but won't budge from inside or out. Guessing the door panel will have to come off but looking for any ideas. Thanks.

 

Try it from the outside, maybe the strap just tripped the Child Door Lock.

Worth a shot: Have someone press very hard against the outside of the door while you attempt to work the release. Sounds like the latch jammed. Probably from the angle caused by the strap.
