does your speedo guage cluster needle sometimes not pop

you know how when you first start the car, the speedo guage cluster needles all pop and then go back to flat....it does that sometimes but sometimes it just stays at the same position.

I guess it's called the dial check feature, maybe I shut it on and off accidentally by pressing the info button ?

is this normal ?

You can change that setting in the menu in the IP. I forget which menus you dive into, but you can turn that setting off.

What about turning it OFF? I can't remember if "on" actually means "off" or not.

it's intermitten, even the fuel guage doesn't reset. it just stays at the bottom with engine on.

then when I shut off and turn back on the fuel guage resets to the proper level.

Sounds like an issue with the instrument cluster motors. I know some 2002-2006 GM trucks had that problem, but not this car!
